Parallel Path
The free Pathway Finder, and how Parallel Path works
What is the Pathway Finder and is it free?
Yes, completely free. The Pathway Finder is a short form on the Parallel Path page. You answer questions about your current season, available hours, primary goal, work style, and visibility comfort. It recommends a realistic pathway and shows your two strongest transferable qualities. No account required. Email is optional.
What does the pathway recommendation actually mean?
Each pathway is a plain-English description of a realistic approach that fits your current capacity and season — not a label or a personality type. For example, the "Quiet Execution Path" means: build income and momentum through quality and referrals, not public visibility. The recommendation is designed to give you a starting point, not a box to stay in.
What are the "top two qualities" shown in my results?
These are two transferable strengths that are most valuable on your recommended pathway — written in plain language, not jargon. They're derived from the combination of your season, goal, available time, and visibility comfort. For example, "Natural Organizer" or "Reliable Executor." Each includes a sentence explaining why it has real-world value, not just in one context.
What if my pathway recommendation doesn't feel right?
Try adjusting one answer and resubmitting — particularly your visibility comfort or primary goal, since these two inputs have the most influence on which pathway is recommended. If it still doesn't feel right, the Clarity Plan is specifically designed to go deeper and map your options with more context than a form can provide.
Does the Finder save my answers?
Yes. When you submit the Pathway Finder, your answers are saved to The Sahalee Group's records. If you provide your email, we may use it to send you product updates, new tools and frameworks, and other communications from The Sahalee Group, LLC. Your information is never sold or shared with third parties. You can opt out of marketing communications at any time by emailing info@sahaleegroup.com. Your answers are also saved temporarily in your browser so they can pre-fill your report if you choose to purchase one.
Clarity Plan
Self-guided Full Report ($75) and guided Clarity Plan ($200)
What's the difference between the Full Report and the Clarity Plan?
The Full Report ($75) is generated automatically from your Pathway Finder results. It's structured and practical, covering your pathway, your top qualities, 5 season-fit ideas with effort and likelihood ratings, a weekly rhythm, and a 30–60–90 day plan. It's built from your form inputs and delivered immediately.
The Clarity Plan ($200) is built through a live 45-minute conversation. It takes your specific context, constraints, and season into account in ways a form can't. The result is more tailored — especially useful when your situation is complex, you're navigating a significant transition, or you've tried structured plans before and they haven't fit your real life.
Do I need to use the Pathway Finder before purchasing?
For the Full Report, yes — the report is generated directly from your Finder results, so you need to complete the Finder first. For the Clarity Plan, the Finder is helpful but not required. Your intake form before the session covers the same ground in more depth.
Do I need to know what I want before starting?
No. Most people start with uncertainty or competing priorities. The Clarity Plan is specifically designed to help you find a clear next step from exactly where you are — not where you think you should be.
Will someone tell me what decision to make?
No. The goal is clarity without pressure. You'll leave with structured insight and a realistic plan so you can choose confidently on your own terms. No one is going to tell you what to do or apply pressure in any direction.
How quickly will I receive my plan?
The Full Report downloads immediately after purchase. The Clarity Plan blueprint is delivered within 7 days of your session.
How many sessions are available each month?
Clarity Plan sessions are limited each month to keep the process thoughtful and personal. Availability is shown when you book. If spots are full, you can join a waitlist or choose the Full Report in the meantime.
What is the cancellation and refund policy?
For the Full Report, all sales are final once the report is delivered due to the personalized, digital nature of the product.
For the Clarity Plan session, a full refund is available if you cancel at least 24 hours before your scheduled session. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the session will receive a 50% refund. If you do not attend without prior notice, the session fee is non-refundable. If we cancel your session for any reason, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.
Is this therapy or professional coaching?
No. The Clarity Plan is a structured planning experience designed to create clarity and momentum. It is not therapy, counseling, or a replacement for professional mental health services. It is also not financial or investment advice.
Momentum Support
Optional monthly follow-through add-on ($100/mo)
What is Momentum Support and do I need it?
Momentum Support is an optional monthly add-on that provides a light weekly check-in rhythm after your Clarity Plan. It's designed for people who leave with a strong plan but find that follow-through — not clarity — is the hard part. It's not intensive coaching; it's a calm, consistent rhythm to keep you accountable without adding pressure.
Do I have to do the Clarity Plan first?
Momentum Support works best after you have a blueprint from the Clarity Plan, because there's a specific plan to stay accountable to. It's technically available without it, but less useful without an existing plan.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. There's no minimum commitment. You can cancel before your next billing cycle at any time. No prorated refunds are issued for the current billing period already charged.
How does the weekly check-in work?
It's a short, focused touchpoint — not a full session. Typically 15 minutes or a brief async exchange, depending on your preference. The goal is to reset priorities, address any friction, and confirm your next step for the week.
PathCraft™
Academic-to-career guidance for students K–college (free for elementary & middle schools; $75 high school & college)
What is PathCraft and who is it for?
PathCraft is a structured academic-to-career pathway tool for students from elementary school through college. Parents answer questions about their child's school stage, primary interest area, learning style, and current priority. PathCraft returns a personalized recommendation including two parallel career paths, a 30-day action plan, local scholarships and opportunities, and — for elementary students — age-appropriate activities to build interest and confidence.
How is PathCraft different from a career assessment?
Most career assessments return a personality type or a list of job titles. PathCraft returns a stage-specific, actionable plan — the next 30 days, two parallel career paths with real role names, and local resources matched to your child's ZIP code and interest area. It's built around what a family can do right now, not what a student might consider someday.
What does the Full Report include?
- Two parallel career paths — a primary role and a backup in the same interest family
- A 30-day action plan tailored to the student's stage and learning style
- Local CTE programs, scholarships, apprenticeships, and colleges matched to the student's ZIP code and interest
- Life After Graduation: What It Actually Costs — a realistic look at the financial picture for the chosen pathway
- A printable PDF blueprint the family can reference and share
What interest areas does PathCraft cover?
PathCraft covers seven interest families: Builder (engineering, trades, architecture), Creator (design, media, animation), Helper (healthcare, education, social services), Tech (software, cybersecurity, data), Business (entrepreneurship, marketing, finance), Nature (environmental science, veterinary, agriculture), and Undecided (broad exploration and strength discovery).
My child is in elementary school — is PathCraft useful at that age?
Yes — and at that age it costs nothing. For elementary-age children, the free Pathway Finder is all you need. It helps you and your child explore strengths and interests in a way that fits where they are, without burying you in scholarships, apprenticeships, and career programs that aren't relevant yet. There's nothing to buy, and nothing you're missing out on by not buying it.
The Full Report is where planning gets concrete, so it opens up in middle school — and it's free there too. From high school on it's $75, when the choices start carrying real cost and real timing.
Does PathCraft work for college students?
Yes. For college students, PathCraft focuses on internships, specific degree programs, scholarship opportunities, and the parallel path between a primary career goal and an adjacent backup. The 30-day action plan is written as a professional commitment, not a student exercise.
How current is the local opportunity data?
Scholarship data, CTE programs, and university information are sourced from public datasets and updated periodically. Apprenticeship availability varies by region and is supplemented with national search links when local data is sparse. All recommendations include direct links to source sites so families can verify current availability.
PathCraft™ Inaugural School Pilot
Limited-time founding cohort — no cost to the school or families
What is the PathCraft Inaugural Pilot?
It's a sixty-day proof, run with a small founding cohort of schools, in which every enrolled student receives a full PathCraft™ Blueprint — the same personalized pathway plan families buy directly — at no cost to the school or the family. The school gets the PathCraft School Portal, the counselor gets visibility into their own cohort, and at day sixty we decide together what happens next.
It is limited on purpose. Founding partners get direct access to the people building the product and a real hand in shaping it, so the cohort is small enough that we can actually listen. Once it's filled, the founding terms close.
What does the school receive?
- Full Blueprints for the cohort, free. Personalized pathway plans covering strengths, two parallel career paths with real role names, honest requirements and costs, local scholarships, apprenticeships and CTE programs, and a next-ninety-days action list.
- The PathCraft School Portal. Separate student, parent, and counselor views, scoped so your counselor sees your school only.
- The Athlete Blueprint™ for your student-athletes — our newest release, included in the pilot at no additional cost.
- A written data-handling and FERPA summary before any student information is collected.
- A named person to call. Founding partners work directly with the team building PathCraft, not a support queue.
- A defined decision at day sixty — with success measures agreed in writing before launch, so neither side gets to decide what counted as success after the results are in.
What does the pilot cost?
Nothing. There is no invoice, no purchase order, and nothing for a board to approve — which is the point at this stage. Families pay nothing either.
That includes the Athlete Blueprint™ for your student-athletes — our newest release, in the pilot at no extra cost rather than held back as an upsell.
If the school continues after the sixty-day decision, PathCraft becomes an annual school subscription, and founding schools keep inaugural pricing for the term.
Who is eligible, and how many students?
The pilot runs with 11th and 12th graders — the students closest to the decision. Schools launch with a small starting cohort and can flex up during the pilot without a new agreement, so a counselor who wants to add a few more students isn't blocked by paperwork.
How does it work for the student?
The student completes the standard PathCraft intake using their school's code — it's the real product, not a school-specific questionnaire. The engine generates their Blueprint, and they sign in to the School Portal to read it.
They can add their own words through My Profile — what they actually care about, in their own voice — which becomes part of the plan rather than sitting in a form somewhere. What they get back isn't a personality type or a list of job titles. It's a plan they can act on this month, plus the questions they should be asking their counselor.
How does it work for the parent or guardian?
Parents get their own sign-in to the same Blueprint. No separate portal to learn, no second version of the truth.
Families control what the school sees. Either the parent or the student can set the sharing level — Full Blueprint, Counselor View, or Private — and nothing is shared with the school at all until a signed consent form is on file. If no choice is made, it stays private by default.
For most parents the real value is smaller and more immediate: they finally have the same document their student has, so the conversation at the kitchen table and the conversation in the counselor's office are about the same thing.
How does it work for the counselor?
The counselor sends a roster — manually, or by uploading a CSV or Excel file — and that's the setup. From the portal they can see their cohort, the Blueprints families have chosen to share, and each student's ninety-day actions, for their school only.
The point isn't another dashboard to monitor. It's that students arrive at advising appointments already knowing what to ask. A thirty-minute meeting that used to start at "so, what are you thinking about?" starts three steps in instead.
What do student-athletes get?
The Athlete Blueprint™ — our newest release — is part of the pilot, at no additional cost. For a student-athlete it adds competitive-level fit across NCAA D1, D2, D3, NAIA and NJCAA; a recruiting readiness checklist covering the NCAA Eligibility Center, core-course GPA, highlight film, camps and coach-outreach timing; and realistic target-school starting points.
It lives inside the same Blueprint the counselor already works from, with the same family-controlled sharing — so an athlete isn't managing a recruiting plan in one place and an academic plan in another.
Does this replace our counselor?
No — and it's built so it can't.
PathCraft doesn't advise a student, doesn't make a recommendation on their behalf, and doesn't decide anything. It does the preparation work a counselor carrying hundreds of students has no realistic way to do for each of them individually: assemble the options, price them honestly, and turn them into questions worth asking. The judgment, the relationship, and the actual guidance stay with the counselor — who now has a student showing up prepared instead of blank.
Everyone in that room already wants the same thing: the best next step for that student. All PathCraft does is make sure the student, the parent, and the counselor are working from the same page when they talk about it.
Does it replace Naviance, SCOIR, or the tools we already use?
No. PathCraft is designed to sit alongside whatever your school already runs — Naviance, SCOIR, Xello, SchooLinks, MajorClarity or YouScience, your SIS, and the Common App. It replaces none of them and competes with none of them.
Those systems are your platform of record: course and college search, interest inventories, transcripts, applications, deadlines, and reporting. PathCraft is the layer between that platform and the counseling relationship — the part that takes everything a student could do and turns it into what this student should do next.
How does PathCraft compare to Naviance and SCOIR?
They're built for different jobs, which is exactly why a school can run both.
Naviance and SCOIR are platforms. Naviance — PowerSchool's college, career and life readiness product — covers course planning, college and career search, assessments, work-based learning listings and counselor reporting, and by PowerSchool's own count is used in about a third of U.S. high schools. SCOIR covers college search, document sending and applications to a network of 1,900+ colleges, Common App integration, family mobile apps, and an ASCA-aligned curriculum. Both are strong at breadth, search, and administration. If you own one, keep it.
PathCraft is a plan, not a platform. It takes one student and produces one document: two parallel pathways with real role names, the honest requirements and real costs of each, local scholarships, apprenticeships and CTE programs, a ninety-day action list, and the specific questions that student should bring to their counselor. It does not send transcripts, manage applications, or track deadlines — and it isn't trying to.
The plainest way to say it: a search platform answers "what are my options?" PathCraft answers "which of these fits me, why, and what do I do in the next ninety days?" One produces a list a student scrolls through alone. The other produces a conversation three people can have together.
Is there anything for our IT department to do?
No. There's no software to install, no SIS integration, no data migration, and no single sign-on project. The counselor uploads a roster; students and parents sign in with an email address. Blueprints are readable in the portal and printable as a PDF, so they can be filed wherever your school already keeps student records.
How is student data handled?
You get a written data-handling and FERPA summary before a single student record is collected. Student information is never sold and never used for advertising. Consent is collected through the school and gates all sharing — without it on file, nothing reaches a counselor. Families can change their sharing level or revoke it at any time.
Sharing is enforced on our side, not just hidden in the interface: content a family hasn't shared is never sent to the counselor's view at all. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
What happens at day sixty?
We meet and choose one of four outcomes defined at the start: expand, extend, revise, or stop. Stopping is a real option, honestly offered — a pilot that can only end one way isn't a pilot.
If you continue, nothing your students built is lost: same portal, same records, same counselor workflow.
What do founding schools get that later schools won't?
Two things, and the first matters more than the second.
A hand in what gets built. Founding partners work directly with the team building PathCraft. What your counselors and families tell us in these sixty days shapes the product every school after you will use — and that access doesn't come back once the cohort closes.
Inaugural pricing. Schools that continue after the sixty-day decision keep founding-partner rates, locked for the term, while later schools pay standard pricing. We'd rather walk through the numbers once your students and counselors have actually seen their Blueprints than put them in front of you now.
How does our school start the conversation?
Email info@sahaleegroup.com. The first step is a short conversation to walk through a sample Blueprint and agree what success would look like for your students — before anything is scheduled or signed.

It is a signpost to help you find the right programs, schools, and support.

Yes, completely free. There is no account, no form to fill out, and nothing to purchase. It is simply a curated set of trusted resources and a plain-language guide you can use at your own pace.
Who is Bright Path for?
Parents and caregivers of children who learn differently — including learning disabilities like dyslexia and dyscalculia, ADHD, autism spectrum, speech and language needs, physical and sensory needs, giftedness, and broad developmental support. It works for any age and is especially helpful for families just beginning, starting in the elementary years.
Does Bright Path give advice, evaluate, or diagnose my child?
No. Bright Path is an information and navigation guide only. It is not a medical, psychological, or legal provider; it does not evaluate, diagnose, advise, or represent anyone, and it is not affiliated with the organizations it links to. For decisions about your specific child, the best next step is your state's Parent Center or a qualified professional.
